Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one or more of the following reasons:
· To enquire/contact us directly about our services
· To make a booking with us
· To receive marketing communications from us if requested by you
We use the information provided to communicate with you and/or process your booking. We share this information with Squarespace, our website hosting provider and Squarespace Scheduling an online appointment-booking tool, so they can provide website services to us.
Squarespace does not store or process your payment information. Payment information including name and postcode, when initially provided or updated is transmitted via Squarespace Scheduling, to Square, a payment provider for processing. Your transaction is encrypted and secured. All information, including your credit card, is transferred only over HTTPS with up to 256-bit encryption. Servers are verified PCI compliant. Should you register for an account and/or save your payment information that data is stored with Square and Squarespace Scheduling for processing to make a booking with us. Payment information and data is stored with Square/Squarespace Scheduling via our integration with Square.
Should you register for an account on our website (optional), Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace company), will ask to save your information for faster booking later with Paws Playfield Datchworth. At that time they will request that you agree to their Terms of Service and acknowledge that you understand their Privacy Policy.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information is that we have a legitimate interest.
How we store your personal information
Your information is securely stored with a) our website hosting providers Squarespace at datacentres in America. They store your data in multiple Tier III data centres across the United States. All Squarespace sites are hosted across their private cloud with full redundancy. b) our online appointment booking providers Squarespace Scheduling store their data in Amazon Web Services servers located in the United States. Images and other static assets are served via multiple geographically distributed content delivery networks (CDNs). c) Paws Playfield Datchworth on password-protected devices.
How long we retain your information
We keep your personal information as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or to comply with legal, regulatory or internal policy requirements.
